Pastor Mark A Walker
Reverend Mark Anthony Walker was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the son of
Mrs. Forrestine Jefferson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie and Bernice Walker. He is
a graduate of Ridgeway High School in Memphis. He also attended Western Kentucky
University where he received a degree in Early Childhood Development.
For his spiritual education he attended the Hopkinsville College of the Bible. Rev.
Walker professed his faith at an early age and was baptized at the Boston Street
Baptist Church under the late Rev. Oris Mays. Pastor Walker served in the U.S. Army
and surrendered to the call of the ministry on October 15, 1985.
He was then licensed to preach on November 3, 1985 and ordained in the ministry
September 19, 1988. Pastor Walker served as the First Vice Moderator for the
CRSKMTBDA.
Rev. Walker is married. He is truly a multi-talented man of God. His spiritual
objective is “To preach the word of God, educating and edifying Saints in the body of
Christ.
